Matthew's surgeries went very well yesterday, and he is recovering pretty well. All the nurses fell in love with him. He was such a brave little boy! Here are some adorable pictures we took of him yesterday.
He is wearing a bitty baby hospital gown. It even tied in the back. Isn't he adorable?!

They marked his left eye with a green pen for surgery. Matthew was so hungry that he actually took a pacifier. The doctors and nurses were surprised that he has never taken one before.
Mommy was scared, but Matthew wasn't. What a brave little boy!
Mommy was silly and made daddy put Matthew's oxygen mask on the lion that we bought him in the hospital gift shop. Isn't it tiny? We did get to take Matthew's tiny anesthesia mask home.
