It's Icky Being Sicky...

We had to take poor little Matthew to the ER on Tuesday morning. (No, this is not an April Fool's...) The poor little guy had a fever, was wheezing and having difficulty breathing. It turns out he has a viral infection and the croup. Yuck! Apparently it's going around here. We've been lucky that at 8 months old this is the first time he has had a runny nose or had any type of viral infection or cold. He's been so pitiful with his yucky cough and has been very clingy with mommy. He is starting to feel a lot better and even took a nap by himself in his crib today (not on mommy). When I went in to check on him this afternoon he was on his hands and knees and was peeking at me. Of course I had to grab the camera and take a picture. Sorry, it's not the best quality since I forgot to turn the flash on. I love these moments with Matthew... He is such a sweet baby!!
