Matthew has been taking a few steps without holding onto anything for several weeks now, but today he really started taking off on his own. We were in such shock that he is already starting to walk, especially since he was a preemie. I have had several doctors tell me not to be concerned because he may be developmentally behind. I have always worried because I still struggle with the guilt of not being able to carry him to term. I've always been hopeful though because my sister was a 3 pound preemie, and she has always excelled academically and physically in everything. Anyway, our little man is so determined. He is into everything, and I do mean everything. I was scared that he would start walking early... Please say a prayer for us!!

YAY, Matthew!!!! What a major accomplishment; this calls for a celebration! Who said all preemies had to be behind!!?? I love the video; it is amazing to watch it happening! He is going to be all over the place now! Exciting times are ahead!
Matthew gives us hope that maybe Luke will be early on some things too!
Sooooo exciting! Jeez, they grow to fast. We had a physical therapist here for Clayton and they said he should be sitting up and playing at 6 months. That is like 3 months from now. That is beyond my belief!
